Ouuuhlala Golf was really born in 1981
45 years of golf. A lifetime of passion.
My name is Thierry. Golf entered my life in 1981 and never left. It became my profession, my passion, and the reason Ouuuhlala Golf exists.
The beginning · 1981
It all started in a garden
I was 15 years old. A large garden in a small village, 150 kilometres south of Paris. The father of my first girlfriend handed me a club and showed me how to swing.
A man who taught me a great deal — and not only about golf. From those first shots struck in the French countryside, a passion was born that has never left me.
My first steps on a real course were at Golf de Clairis and Golf de Vaugouard, fairways where I built my game, my character, and that particular relationship with golf that only true enthusiasts understand.
Very quickly, golf became more than a hobby. A way of being.

Competition
Pressure, emotions, and the moments you never forget
I’ve played the French Club Championship more than 20 times with my club in Team 1, Mid-Amateur and Senior. Years of matchplay battles, of camaraderie built before, during and after each round.
Those memories with my teammates are among the most precious of my golfing life. Some moments stay with you forever. That two-putt on the 18th green I was the last match on Sunday, the entire team came running across that green. I will never forget it.
My first albatross at Biarritz Le Phare. Breaking 80 for the first time, from the back tees at the Albatros at Golf National. And winning the Pro-Am International de la Côte d’Opale, and winning the Heritage Golf Festival in Mauritius on several occasions.
30 countries · Legendary courses
Golf has taken me to every corner of the world
Old Head of Kinsale in Ireland, suspended above the Atlantic. The Qatar Masters and DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
Yas Links in Abu Dhabi. Vietnam’s coastal courses in the early morning mist. The Heritage Golf Festival in Mauritius.
But two memories stand apart. Playing at the K Club in Dublin in the group directly behind Tiger Woods and Mark O’Meara. And thanks to a very private invitation from Wilson Golf, playing Royal Birkdale with Pádraig Harrington, three weeks before his second Claret Jug. You don’t plan moments like that. Golf gives them to you.

2002 · The birth of Ouuuhlala Golf
When passion becomes a profession
In 2002, a company was looking for a very specific profile: someone with solid experience in promotional products and a genuine love of golf. I was exactly that person.
I spent four years developing personalised golf product collections and building supplier relationships across Asia. I used to joke that I had deep experience in advertising products and golf was the perfect mix, passion doing the rest.
The great names followed naturally: LCF Rothschild, BMW, BNP Paribas, Porsche, KPMG, and many more. In 2006, I founded Ouuuhlala Golf.

Lily & the golf balls
The best way to carry your family onto a fairway
In competitive golf, you must be able to identify your ball or face a penalty.
My daughter Lily had the answer. Before every tournament, Lily would take my golf balls and decorate them in her own way — with symbols, drawings and colours.
Each ball became unique. It was impossible to mistake one for another on the course. Those balls were with me throughout my rounds, through decisive putts, birdies and bogeys. I took Lily’s balls with me to every green in the world.

Thank You for This Beautiful Journey
To everyone who has accompanied me on this incredible journey, I say thank you. Thank you for your support, your friendship, your passion.
